I read that all users who own a copy of Vista should activate their copies NOW, as the download links are gone, and the activation cut-off will be very soon (perhaps uly 14th). A Microsoft blogger was noted to say, that users who activate, may receive future downloads or benefits.
I have a key licensed for 10 machines (From Vista Beta 2 DVD), and have installed and activated on two machines.
I intend to purchase a new machine and install Vista in the next couple of weeks. Will I still be able to activate this new install because I have activated an install with this key previously, or will ALL activations cease to work from approx July 14th?
I would appreciate your help, this may mean I have to rush to purchase the parts and build the machine sooner than I thought.

Activation Cut-Off
I do not know a statement that any key or activation will stop after July 14th.

The customers that has been given a key must download the copy before July 14th.
The limit of the keys are not mentioned and I assume they are valid to around the actual release of the final version. At least the next beta/release candidate.

No, they should download now. 7/14 is the drop dead date for downloading for those who have already received their Product Keys. Activation doesn't have any thing to do with it.
